Hello! If this is your first time here, I thought I'd provide a sort of introduction to the blog. First of all, you need to check out the About page where you can find out a little bit more about me.
After you've learned about me, here are some posts that I like that I wrote. You can also explore on your own, although I would warn you against going too far back. 15-year-old teenage girls are scary sometimes, and use way too many exclamation points for my current tastes.
This post I wrote is about finding your favourite book, and how there's no step-by-step guide, but it's something that happens unexpectedly. I also tell the stories about how I found two of my favourite books, Jellicoe Road by Melina Marchetta and Okay for Now by Gary D. Schmidt.
A Young Writer's Struggle With NaNoWriMo is a post I wrote about... my struggle with NaNo over the years, and my eventual acceptance of it. It's mostly just my personal experience with NaNo, as well as my struggle to motivate myself to write, period.
A Short List of Endlessly Fascinating Characters features some of my favourite, amazingly complex characters.
A Young Writer's Struggle With Writing Contests is also kind of about me changing my philosophy about writing. I tend to struggle a lot as a writer... hmm...
You Don't Have To Be Fearless To Do Scary Things where I apply something I learned on a hike to a waterfall to writing.
Love Letter to Books, Writing and Imagination where I reflect on how books and my imagination have supported me throughout my life.
If you want to learn more about my life and what's going on a weekly basis, sometimes I do What's Up Wednesday posts, talking about what I'm currently reading, writing, or what else is going on in my life.
I also do book reviews sporadically, if you ever need recommendations.
Just some places to start! After you've read a few posts, interact with me by heading on over to my Contact page.

ReplyDeleteJust found your blog and I have to say, that's gotta be one of the best blog titles I've seen in a long, long time. And the lions are really cute.
ReplyDeleteAnyhow, I think I'll be returning. :)
Haha, thank you! I hope you will return. I love comments, and new visitors. So welcome!
ReplyDeleteA published writer, and cool blogger with 64 followers...? And I call myself a writer?
ReplyDeleteEven the blog's so much more sophisticated...*Sigh*
Great, awesome blog you have. Any pointers?
This sounds like the blog for me. I love to write, even if it's just a few sentences.
